Hong Xie, MD, MBA

Dr. Xie serves as CMO of Overland Therapeutics.

Prior to joining Overland Therapeutics, Dr. Xie was the former Global Medical Head at Johnson & Johnson, where she led oncology medical strategy and played a key role in advancing global clinical development and medical affairs initiatives. She previously held multiple clinical development roles of increasing responsibility at leading pharmaceutical companies, including GSK, Merck & Co., and BeOne Medicines.

Dr. Xie brings more than 25 years of global pharmaceutical industry experience in the clinical development of innovative oncology, immunology, and hematology therapeutics, including hands-on diligence and business development achievements with in-licensing opportunities of $1B+ deal sizes.

Dr. Xie has a strong academic foundation, holding an M.D. in Medicine and an M.S. in Molecular Biology from Peking University, as well as an MBA from Lehigh University College of Business.
